Pink, lavender, teal, orange. We remember all the colors. We salute all the colors. We represent all the colors in the rainbow of awareness ribbons in the color run. So…what’s your color?
Come join the festivities as the Lake Regional Health System Family Birth Center hosts a “What’s Your Color” 5K to raise money for Relay for Life of Camden County. 100% of the proceeds go toward funding for cancer research and financial assistance for patients and their families.
Registration is open to everyone. The “What’s Your Color” 5K is not about finishing fast or racing hard–this is an event to promote having fun with some friends, getting colorful, and promoting a good cause.
So…what exactly is a “What’s Your Color” 5K, anyways?
The Relay for Life of Camden County “What’s Your Color” 5K is a paint race celebrating life, happiness, remembrance, and awareness. Start the race wearing all white, and finish in living color. It’s less about your race time, and more about the time of your life. No worries if you’re not a seasoned marathoner. You can run, walk, crawl, or skip. Think cancer awareness event meets powdered paint food fight party with a pretty sweet soundtrack (thanks to DJ services from The Steven Brothers, Iberia DJ Services) .
